At the Arc de Triomphe.
It’s a monument in Paris, centered in the Place Charles de Gaulle (or Place de l’Etoile), to honor those who fought for France (especially during the Napoleonic Wars). If you get close enough, you can see that on the inside and the top of the arc are the names of all the generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I.
On a side note, I don’t like taking pictures with monuments. I harbor no ill feelings to them, but I hate the nasty tourist taste they leave. As you can see, I have the bitter trace in my squinty eyes and scrunched up mouth.
